Real Wedding: Autumn Wedding at Barnutopia

A few weeks ago we held a beautiful autumn wedding and ceremony at Barnutopia. The day was cool with a hint of rain and so we set up our long wedding barn for the ceremony and wedding reception.

Autumn Wedding Decor

The bride and groom chose this cute family tree guest book that fits perfectly with an autumn theme. During the course of the day, guests added their thumb prints and names to the tree. It was fun seeing the number of “leaves” growing throughout the day.

Glamping Accommodation

The wedding party and guests stayed in our fully furnished luxury glamping yurts, cabins, stable and bunkhouse. All units have power, lighting, heating and free WiFi. They are toasty warm and cosy whatever the weather.

Autumn wedding Weather

The leaves were just beginning to change colour and the day was warm enough to get some outdoor pics. It’s hard to predict the weather in Britain but data from the UK met office shows that September ranks fourth for the fewest rainy days per month behind April, June and Jul; and fourth for maximum daily temperature, too, behind July, August and June. This is worth remembering if you are considering an autumn wedding.

Autumn Wedding Ceremony

One advantage to an autumn wedding is that it is outside peak wedding season and venues are more likely to be available. The ceremony was conducted in Barnutopia’s licensed wedding barn decorated with autumn colours.
