Event Barn (155 sq m) aka the Long Barn for up to 120 Guests

Name changed 23 March 2018, was Party Barn. See also our smaller party barn for up to 40 guests.

The event barn has seen some fabulous celebrations over the last year. Party barn at BarnutopiaPainted, decorated and rewired in 2017, we are still improving the barn which has a bar and seating area, dance floor with disco ball and a band/disco set-up area. Although there are wall heaters in the bar area, during cooler weather, you will need warm clothing. Our new, smaller party barn, is under construction and will be a great space for smaller groups of under 40 guests.

We have had some great parties and events in the event barn, see pics here. The fairy lights are a permanent fixture and guests decorate as they would like to. See here for dimensions and floor plan.

Inside the event barn PartyBarn03with lounge area, wall-mounted television, DIY or licensed bar, dance floor and fairy lights. We plan to replace the leather sofas with lighter rattan or wicker furniture that is easier to move when then barn is being set up for a seated reception for up to 120 guests.

No farm is complete without a party barn and Tanycoed Farm is no exception. We have two. When we first decided to open a glamping site, we didn’t have parties or weddings in mind. However, as soon as we saw the long cattle barn we knew it would be perfect for large gatherings. We have had many, many birthday parties, hen weekends, family and friends get-togethers and just about every celebration you can imagine. We held our first wedding on 19th August 2017. For groups with under 30 guests, our smaller party barn may prove to be a better option.
