Barnutopia, Tanycoed Farm, Llansilin, Oswestry, Shropshire SY10 9BS

We are in Shropshire, England half a mile from the village of Llansilin, Powys, Wales. Our lane is signposted Cadogan Lane on the Shropshire end and Ffordd Cadwgan on the Welsh end). It is also known and signposted as School Lane on the Welsh end.

For the shortest route, please find your way to Oswestry town BEFORE getting directions to Barnutopia SY10 9BS from your sat nav or map app. Google maps usually brings you right to the door. Apple maps has us located in Trefonen, which is WRONG. We are trying to get this fixed. Also, if your sat nav or map app directs you down a road unsuitable for vehicles, it is WRONG. We are on a tarmac road all the way to the farm and into the yard. See downloadable directions, below.

Route 1 (via B4580)

  1. Enter Oswestry from the A483 or the A5
  2. Find Church St. or Castle St. and turn onto B4580 signposted to Llansilin
  3. Stay on B4580 all the way to Llansilin
  4. Turn left onto School Lane/Ffordd Cadwgan in front of the church
  5. Barnutopia is just over half a mile on the left and side

Route 2 (via Trefonen Road)

  1. Enter Oswestry from the A483 or the A5
  2. Find Upper Brook St and pass Oswestry School on the right hand side
  3. Upper Brook Street turns into Trefonen Rd. Signposted Trefonen.
  4. After 2 miles approx. turn right off Trefonen Rd. on a sweeping left hand bend. Signposted to Llansilin.
  5. After 2 miles approx. take a steep right onto Cadogan Lane
  6. Barnutopia is just over a mile on the right hand side

The Google map pin is correct but for some reason the address includes Morda. We keep asking Google to change this but note we are NOT in Morda; although, there is a School Lane there. We are near the village of Llansilin, Powys.
