Part of an extensive site known as Llanymynech Limeworks Heritage Area. Woodlands, wildflower meadows, canal side walks and one of only three rare Hoffman Kilns. The area was a major centre of the lime industry until the early 1990s and retains many important features of industrial archaeology. The site is open all the time. The Education Room must be pre-booked.
