Get a Taste for Luxury Yurt Glamping
Our first official guests arrived on Saturday, June 5. Two groups stayed for the weekend and into the first part of the week. We are delighted to say that feedback was overwhelmingly complimentary and positive. They said our yurts exceeded their expectations and were beautifully furnished and comfortable. The facility was clean and tidy, the home-cooked food delicious and the hosts friendly and helpful [blush].

What’s is Barnutopia?
Barnutopia is a new yurt camp site opened in June 2015. Currently, we have three self-catering luxury yurts available for camping in comfort or glamping. Dining options (breakfast, lunch, dinner) also offered.
You can relax in peace and take in the tranquil beauty of the countryside surrounding Tanycoed Farm located in Llansilin on the Powys, Wales and Shropshire, England border.
With stunning views of the rolling green Powys and Shropshire hills, silence broken only by the sounds of birds, the occasional sheep bleating and the bees pollinating flowers, Barnutopia is a peaceful haven away from city life, but within 5 miles of Oswestry, one of the oldest border settlements in the United Kingdom with evidence of construction and occupation dating from 800 BC and AD 43. Oswestry is now a busy market town with supermarkets, restaurants and activities. Walk for miles, visit the Seven Wonders of Wales, view historic landmarks, or just enjoy the yurts and location right where they are. Barnutopia is within 15 miles of multiple historic towns in Wales and England and a short drive to the Snowdonia National Park. It is perfect as a base for walking and sight-seeing.
