Single parent takeovers
Single Parent Takeovers are designed for single parents. Occasionally, we make an exception for a partner or amicable co-parent.
Typical single parent takeovers have between 10 and 15 parents and 15 to 25 children from toddlers to teens.
Breakfast and suppers
We schedule regular breaks including delicious breakfasts & suppers. You have access to the camp kitchens to store and prepare lunches and snacks.

What to do at Barnutopia
When we first started, we had an action-packed schedule of activities. This turned out to be a hassle for parents. Kids just want to run around and enjoy the freedom and the countryside. Now the schedule is much freer. We plan breakfast for 8:30 and supper for 6:30 pm and the rest of the time is yours. Parents often arrange to go for lunch together off-site, and there are things to see and do within easy driving distance.

Shared facilities
Excellent shared facilities including a well-equipped camp kitchen with smart TV, breakfast room, barn, a bathroom block with ladies, gents, wheelchair accessible and showers.
Our Glamping accommodation
You may request any one of our 11 yurts, cabins and stables and we will do our best to accommodate. All are comfortably furnished with real beds, linen, power, light, heating and free Wi-Fi.
Large families get the larger units even if they don’t fill all the beds. It just makes more sense to do that. We appreciate your flexibility. You are welcome to find someone to share one of the larger units.
Camping Option
We have space for a few tents or campervans. There is no water, waste or electric hookup but campers share all the same facilities.
