Small group dining for under 30 guests

At Barnutopia, not every gathering needs to be a big event. Our small group dining option offers a relaxed, home-from-home atmosphere in the Garden Room, part of the main farmhouse or the cookhouse.

Service typically lasts three to four hours (flexible). Start time from 11 am to 8:00 pm. Bar service may be extended until midnight on weekdays or 1:00 am on Fridays and Saturdays.

Room & table decor

Simple table decorations are included. If you would like something more elaborate, we can decorate the room and/or tables using decorations you provide for an additional £125. To be delivered at least the day before latest.

Mini celebrations

Perfect for smaller birthday celebrations, anniversaries, family get-togethers, club dinners, or team meals, this is a cosy alternative to the event barn. Enjoy good food, great company, and the comfort of a private space that feels warm and welcoming.

Maximum headcount

Designed for groups of up to 30 guests, small group dining focuses on dining and conversation rather than dancing or entertainment. Meals are freshly prepared and served to your table, with two-, three- or four-course menus available, including vegan, vegetarian and special-diet choices.

Menu choices

You can decide on the menu (one per sitting) using our catering options as inspiration or you can request something different.

Soup, salad, chicken curry, chilli con carne, bangers and mash, roast dinner, spaghetti bolognese, trifle, fruit crumble, cake selection — anything is possible.

You are welcome to bring your own cake in place of dessert. We can serve it with suitable accompaniments such as fresh fruit, cream, ice cream or fruit coulis.

Guide prices

Based on a minimum headcount of 15.

• 2 courses (main and dessert) £35 per head
• 3 courses (starter, main and dessert) £55 per head
• 4 courses (starter, main, dessert and cheese board) £65 per head
• Add tea and coffee, £1.50 per head

Drinks, bar and alcohol

Water, squash, tea and coffee are included with your meal.

Includes a glass of Prosecco (with soft drink alternative) on arrival.

From our licensed bar, we can provide carbonated drinks, wine by the glass or bottle, canned or bottled beer and cider, spirits and mixers.

If you would prefer to bring your own alcohol, add £10 per head to the guide prices.
