Many couples choose to complete the legal formalities at the Oswestry Registration Office or arrange for the Shropshire registrars to conduct a ceremony at Barnutopia, which is a licensed venue. You may also complete the legalities days, weeks or months before your celebrant-led ceremony. It is important to give notice and book early, as registrars get booked up well in advance. The Four Fires ceremony

We envisage the four fires representing the four elements — earth, air, fire and water — though the ceremony is entirely yours to shape. The inclusion of fire draws on one of humanity’s oldest and most universal ways of understanding the natural world. We don’t claim to be experts in solstice customs and traditions, but we understand their importance and take them seriously. We will work with you and your celebrant or officiant to ensure your ceremony is personal and faithful to your beliefs and traditions.
