Celebrate New Year 2016 in a Luxury Glamping Yurt

Celebrate the New Year in a luxury yurtBring in the New Year 2016 in style with a short stay in a luxury glamping yurt in Shropshire.

We got off to a very successful first season. Yurts were booked out completely during the last half of July and the whole of August. We made the decision to stay open during the autumn and all year round. Our half-term, Halloween and Bonfire night specials were fantastically well-received by guests and we cooked Thanksgiving dinner on two days to accommodate guest.

New Year 2016 Yurts

Our traditional Mongolian yurts have been adapted for use in Britain and stay cosy, dry and warm whatever the weather. The yurts are fully furnished with real beds, warm duvets, power, lighting, heating and free Wi-Fi if you need to stay connected. Barntuopia, the yurts and our facilities have received rave reviews since we opened in June 2015. We update our Barnutopia Facebook page regularly and many guests have left reviews.

Our shared glamping facilities are excellent and include a well-equipped camp kitchen, a converted stable lounge with leather sofas, television and DVD player, a breakfast room with a selection of games and a bathroom with power shower in the main farmhouse. The farmhouse dining room is used for purchased meals, if you fancy a break from self-catering. A New Year’s Eve festive dinner is included in the special package over Christmas and New Year. Guests can book for 2, 3 or 4 days and enjoy peace and relaxation in truly stunning surroundings without having to worry about anything.

Come to Shropshire for the New Year

Situated right on the border with Powys, Wales, Barnutopia is a gorgeous out-of-the-way location for  peace and relaxation but within easy reach of civilisation if the mood takes you. Down the lane the local village, Llansilin, is under a mile away in Powys. Up the lane is Shropshire and the quickest route to Oswestry (5 miles), one of Britain’s oldest market towns full of boutique shops, restaurants and several of the larger supermarkets (Sainsbury’s, Morrison’s and Aldi). If you can drag yourself away from your comfortable yurt there are lots of things to do in and around the area.
