Shropshire Yurts Any Time
Yurt camping, or glamping, is a growing trend in Britain and throughout the world. Barnutopia Shropshire yurts located on the Shropshire-Powys border is the perfect location for a relaxing holiday at any time of the year. With the rolling Shropshire and Powys hills as a backdrop, our yurts are cosy and comfortable with everything you need for rural relaxation without roughing it. From December 2015 we hold a licence to sell alcohol. We do not intent to open as a public bar, but the option to purchase drinks is there for guests who would like to enjoy a responsible drink during their holiday.
Shropshire Yurts for Christmas
Our three Shropshire yurts Bronwyn, Carianne and Nanny Iris, along with our Big Yellow Tent are available year round for glamping holidays. Our Christmas special includes an eggnog and nibbles welcome reception, campfire and mulled wine or hot chocolate and optional Christmas dinner and breakfast daily. 2015 is our first Christmas in the yurts and we are excited to welcome guests to our farm, Santa’s Grotto in a stable and everything else we have prepared for Christmas. Fairy lights adorn the stable block and we have more lights on order to go around each yurt.
Shropshire Yurts for the Holidays
Before and between Christmas and New Year the yurts and the Big Yellow Tent are available without the festive dinner option for guests who fancy a break from the holiday mayhem. Santa’s Grotto will remain for the duration of the holidays right up to the Twelfth Day of Christmas. Guests may take advantage of dining to order options if they would like to.
Shropshire Yurts for the New Year
Our first New Year in our Shropshire yurts is going to be fabulous with an optional New Year’s Eve dinner and daily breakfasts. We have a long barn with power and lighting and plan a champagne celebration with (optional!) dancing and singing Auld Land Syne. We also have fireworks to bring in the New Year in style.
