Plan ahead for 2020
New reservations for spring 2020 all but dried up after the COVID-19 government lockdown announced on 23 March 2020. As of mid-April, we are seeing new enquiries but, quite rightly, glamping guests and couples are nervous about committing themselves to dates in summer 2020. So, for new reservations in 2020 the confirmation fee is reduced to 10% and is fully refundable if the booking cannot go ahead because of an extended or new government lockdown related to COVID-19. Alternatively, you may choose to postpone your reservation or leave funds on account to use against any future reservation.
Plan ahead for 2021
We are taking reservations for 2021 as usual. We expect a surge in bookings for all future dates when restrictions are lifted. If you are interested in booking a glamping holiday, getting married at Barnutopia or having a family and friends gathering in 2021, please get in touch now. As always, we recommend taking out travel or event insurance to cover you in the event your reservation cannot go ahead for any reason.
Barnutopia Glamping & Venue
Barnutopia opened in June 2015 with 3 canvas yurts, a small camp kitchenette, one toilet/shower and an additional outside portable toilet. In 2020, there are 9 luxury glamping units; 3 new this year wooden octayurts, a large Mongolian canvas yurt, 3 cabins, a stable and a bunkhouse. The large cookhouse is fully equipped with everything you need to store, prepare, cook and eat food. The second kitchen shack has everything apart from an oven. Two stables were converted into a bathroom block, which has 3 showers (unlimited hot water), 5 toilets and 2 urinals. Two of the toilets are wheelchair accessible and there is a baby-changing table. The event barn has been refurbished and can accommodate seated gatherings of up to 120 headcount. The Dutch barn is an excellent indoor-outdoor space in the event of poor weather.
Standard Terms and Conditions
Our terms and conditions are not onerous and are typical for holiday destinations and event venues like us. They have not changed as a result of COVID-19; although, we added information on the rationale behind our cancellation and change policy.
